It's been a busy few months - a lovely tour in Japan and a swag of festivals and tours here in September including OPEN FRAME and FRANKLY!, both of which were an utter pleasure. Things are picking up pace again...I've just had the pleasure of completing a soundtrack for MAKINO TAKASHI'S film THE LOW STORM, which debuts in Tokyo this November.

I'm very pleased to announced the release of my latest LP A COLOUR FOR AUTUMN on the USA label 12K. The record is the second in my series of editions that trace the experience of seasonal transit. The record follows up from For Varying Degrees Of Winter and features two contributions from DEAN ROBERTS and CHRISTIAN FENNESZ.

I'm glad to announce that the new album from my good friend and collaborator Tujiko Noriko, titled 'U', is OUT NOW. It's the second in our series of ongoing collaborations that first came to light in 2005 with BLURRED IN MY MIRROR. The new album also features some incredible work from UK based artist and all round friend of Room40 JOHN CHANTLER. Vital Weekly had this to say "Excellent work, the best I ever heard from this lady and these boys."

The album is the first is a series of ongoing works concerned with transposing the visual effects of mist, mirage, snow fall and the like to a variety of acoustic situations.
